Izzy Gibson
Izzy Gibson is a graphic designer whose editorial and collage work seeks to explore social and political topics through experimental design methods. Inspired by grunge music and the tongue-in-cheek work of other women graphic designers such as Bea Fietler and Jessica Walsh, Izzy’s work pushes the boundaries of traditional design principles through the use of unconventional materials, abstract photography, and alternative compositions.
In November 2025, Izzy completed her BFA in Graphic Design at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She was most recently on the social media team for DePaul University’s design capstone show, Case & Point. Having a background in theater production, Izzy has gained a reputation for creating work revolving around the Chicago theater scene, with puppets becoming a key influence in her editorial work and capstone project. She has also produced two video games with her educational game Kaleidoscope being published on the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s website.
She is interested in working with book publishers, theatre groups, and those looking to develop unique brand identities.
